This application is one of my top 5 favorite applications, it lets you watch completely free live internet television on any Nokia Symbian S60 device. The application is called Vimio Live TV. Vimio started to provide free internet TV for Nokia devices 3 years ago, but 15 days ago they relaunched the service with a new client with improved functionality. So far the are offering three channels, Al Jazeera, BBC World News and CityTV but they are working hard to bring more free channels to the application.
I have tried the app for 3 days now and I can say that it does the job very well and it completely transforms your Nokia S60 device into a TV. To download Vimio just go here: sweden.vimiotv.com and click on ”Download Live TV Application” then select Symbian S60 3rd Edition, download and install. After you installed the application it will ask you to send a SMS to receive the login info, the Vimio team explained me that in some countries and carriers this is not working and although the SMS is sent there is no response, if you have this problem send an email to help@vimio.com and the team will provide you with the login information.
