Nokia Kinetic Device is a Real, Flexible, Morph-Like Prototype

When someone told me at Nokia World that the Nokia Research center had a flexible Nokia prototype, I thought it was some kind of non-working mockup. To my surprise, the Nokia Research center did have a fully functional prototype of what it seems is the real version of the Nokia Morph concept revealed some years ago. The Nokia Kinetic device is a 5″ slab that enables the user to bend and twist the frame to enter input. You can twist up to go up, and bend in or down to select. The Nokia Research people said that the technology was not that far from being implemented in consumer products. Here’s a demo:
