All Nokia fans and users are patiently waiting for the great Nokia N97, the best and greatest phone from Nokia. It packs everything, from the biggest touch-screen ever on a Nokia phone, to the 32GB of on-board memory, GPS, full QWERTY keyboard and of course laptop like form factor.  The N97 will be launching in June according to Nokia, in the mean while all we can do is wait, but for those who just can’t wait more, there is a better thing you can do! You could install the theme from the N97, in your Nokia phone and make your Nokia  look like the Nokia N97!

If you saw the pictures from the N97 you will notice it has a beautiful grey theme with the classical geomatrical patterns Nseries phones like the N82 and N95 8GB use, this theme looks very similar although of course is not the exact same one. Anyway, the bottom line is that your Nokia phone will look very similar to the N97, I have been using this theme now for a while and it is probably my favorite theme so far. The theme is completely free and you can download it right now, the bad part is that you will need to sign it but it is very easy to do, it only takes 1 minute and then you will be enjoying the N97 theme on your Nokia mobile phone. Download here: nokia-n97-theme and follow this instructions to sign the theme. (You will need a PC)

Compatible with: Nokia N86, Nokia E55, Nokia E75, Nokia N85 and all S60 3rd and 5th Edition Phones (Nokia 5800)


 

 

1. Download the file you want to sign to your PC.

2. Get the application out of the .ZIP archive and put it in your desktop

3. Go here and follow the instructions (Symbian Signed) , you can get your IMEI by typing *#06# on the calling screen of your 5800, or in the box of the device or back label behind the battery.

4. After you followed the instructions and Symbian Signed returned the theme signed to you via email, just install. I advise you to erase the first unsigned file so you dont get confused, the wallpaper is in the .ZIP if you want to give it a try on your Nokia 5800. If you have any problems just leave a comment and we’ll help you, please be specific so we can be efficient!

    Dear max1973@abv.bg, Your application (N97 Theme.SIS) signing has failed. This may be because it has been flagged as a potential virus by our scanning or because the format of your sis file is incorrect or corrupt. Please try re-building your .sis file and re-submitting. ?????

    Hi Max, I just tried it and worked perfectly, my guess is that you are unZiping the file in a way that corrupts it, look the screenshot:

    i have a N97 and dont have that white theme with the pattern.. im wondering if this theme would work on my n97 or where i can get the white patern theme for my phone..???

      It is called Nseries 3, it is on settings>themes

    Probably being really stupid but I cant seem to open the widgets on my 5800 as i dont know how. On the n97 there is an options button but this doesn’t appear on the 5800 theme.

      You mean on the homescreen? The N97 is the only phone with that feature

    I’ve downloaded the ZIP file, extracted the SIS file and tried to go through the signed procedure as described but I get the message:

    FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is in protected range and is not allocated to the account holder matching this email address (0x2000a62e)

    Can anyone help?
