Nokia’s first Windows Phone went official today, and we know exactly where it’s going to launch: France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. That means, the Lumia 800 is not going to be available right now for the U.S.A.
However, Elop and other sources within Nokia referenced an “early 2012” Windows Phone release; so we can safely assume that the Lumia 800 will eventually hit the U.S subsided by an American carrier. None of this is official, yet Elop did mention during the keynote that Nokia will introduce Windows Phone devices to the American market early next year. A little bit of a disappointment I must say.
