Quoting my favorite comedian Craig Ferguson, “It’s a great day for America everyone!” The Lumia 920 and 820 are coming to the U.S. on the Nation’s fastest network, AT&T.
Not all the questions were answered, but Nokia fans in the U.S. should be happy to know that the Lumia 920 will come in yellow, red, white, black, and…. cyan! A brand new color a lot of users requested on Twitter and Facebook. The 920 will be available “by November” in all five colors for a still undisclosed price (although it is safe to assume it will be around $200 on a 2-year contract). Nokia says the 920 and 820 will be joined by a “plethora of accessories,” including the Wireless Pad, Wireless Stand, and the JBL Power Up speaker.
I am wondering if this is the real “rolling thunder” Nokia was aiming for, seems like they will get an important chunk of AT&T store real estate this holiday season to display all 5 Lumia 920s, the 820, and all those colorful accessories. Seems like the “Windows Phone” (read HTC) 8x will get relegated to a dark corner.
On a side note, seems like the ugly AT&T logo found its way to the upper left corner of the 920. Only Apple can seem to ignore AT&T partner guidelines. Stay tuned for more info on the upcoming 920 and 820.
